Paint clear nail polish over the crossed threads of the button, both front and back.

It helps slip the grips on bicycle handle bars too, but you will not get them off again in one piece

Clear polish is great for Eye glass screws that wanna come out,

Or the cheap lugs of glasses taht tend to turn your temple's green

Or even the el cheapo rings that loose their color, either silver or gold.

Unbottoning rather than tearing off yr clothes usually helps as well Smile
