the answer is simple: no.
harvard grad's couldn't answer it and kindergartners could because the little kids answered the question: can you guess the riddle? the harvard grads spent all their time trying to figure it out when there's nothing to figure out.

Im sorry but the answer to this riddle is in fact not "no". If it were to say, "can you answer this riddle?", then the answer would be "no". But because it says, "can you guess this riddle", the answer to this riddle is in fact, "yes". Plain and simple, there is no other answer to this riddle, but because you can guess all you want, and because the last line states, "can you guess this riddle", the answer to this riddle is in fact "yes". the answer is..........................Crayon!... it makes sense because it can draw all the emotions, draw faces on people, color animals, etc...

Can some of you who are landing on this page tell us what caused you to search for this riddle?

Yesterday there was an unprecedented spike in search traffic about this riddle. The traffic spiked larger than all the rest of the traffic combined and we get a decent amount of traffic so that's a pretty big deal.

That kind of thing often happens with a huge referrer (slashdotting, stumbleupon etc) but what is causing such a huge spike in the search queries about this riddle? Over 10,000 people came to a2k searching for this riddle just yesterday alone so something is causing many thousands of people to look for this riddle and it started on Sunday.

I suspect it's that silly viral thing telling people to start posting it everywhere, but would love to confirm what is causing the spike in interest.

the answer is TIME! people, its not that hard-

and I will make you cry. - When someone gets old and dies. When evbents occur
I make guys have to pee - He can't wait forever.
and girls comb their hair. - They comb it because it gets long over time.
I make celebrities look stupid. - There is always propaganda and rumors as people become well known over time.
and normal people look like celebrities. - Events in their lives can be amazing over time. And when everyone's old they basically look the same.

And with the popping. Time goes by fast, especially when you try to hold on to it. If you watch it go by you eventually die (pop).

lol... everyone fails. Someone above said it. The question that is posed at the END of the riddle is "Can you answer the riddle". A kindergartner would simply say "no" and carry on with what ever they're doing (like they care about riddles). The Harvard students don't answer it correctly because they spend all their time thinking of a highly intellectual Harvard-esque response to the riddle when the main point of the riddle part is to make you ignore the simple question asked at the end. And by the way, polar bears are not white because of pressure at the poles, their actually translucent(ish) to help them blend into their surroundings. And time doesn't work either... its just weird.

the answer is "no" i cant guess the riddle you only answer the last line the rest of the sentence is just to distract you thats why 84% of kindergarten students got it right eventually the just said no they couldnt get it.

it is no the reason why harvord students didn`t get it was because they were trying to have a logical answer kindergardners say no because there puzzled so there right
