I don't consider the retailing of religious superstition to be a form of debate, so you can bet i'll lose no sleep over that. I have very good grounds for my comments--you're trying to peddle particularist dogmatic religious assertions, and everyone has the right to shout out "Bullshit! ! !" when that happens.

No one was shouting out 'Bullshit!' or anything to that effect. I was giving my views (views of the Church) and they were rebutting them. we were having a constructive debate.

You and i clearly don't see the world the same way. I guarantee you that neither Neo nor Dok take your theological maunderings seriously, and as you can well imagine, neither do i.

Not that this will help you any nick17, but I applaud your efforts. It's obvious you are very serious about what you believe. There's nothing wrong with that.

Is it really all that important what any other person thinks of you or your beliefs? I've come to learn it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of them. The only thing that matters is what you and God think of them.

I hope you had a blessed Easter.http://www.smileys.ws/smls/yahoo/00000040.gif

Thanks Momma Angel.

" Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:
Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you." -- Matthew 5:11-12

Nick, if you are just looking for someone to agree with you, check out the thread by nancyann.
We have let her go her own way because of her unassuming demeanor. That is not to say we agree with her. Many of us have chimed in with our 2 Cents from time to time.

But if you wish to sharpen your debating skills, then you need to expose your propositions to critical thinking. After all, when one's rhetorical fly is open (as is yours), it's common courtesy to point it out.
