Is there anyway to change the scroll speed in FireFox? It is slow as molasses and I can't find preferrences for it anywhere.

Try this:

1. In Firefox, type about:config in the URL box.
2. Find the line mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines, set it to false by double clicking on true.
3. Find the line mousewheel.withnokey.numlines, set it to the number of lines you want to scroll at a time. Try 6.

Let me know if that speeds it up for you.

(Note: Holding down the alt- key when scrolling will keep the scroll slow, if needed/desired.)

Wow... there is a lot of stuff in there. Thanks Tico.

Only problem is I am scrolling with the down arrow key, not a scroll wheel. Got any magic codes for that???
