attached file problem

I designed a form (with a few tables in it) using Word, attached it to an e-mail, sent the email to myself (just to see how it worked), opened the attached file, and found the font and the size of the letters, and the looks of the tables, all deviated from my original design. I wonder what the problem is; how can I fix it?

did you attach the file itself, or did you paste the contents of the file into the body of the e-mail?

what type of e-mail program did you use?

I did the tables in Microsoft Word, saved it as a file in my computer, went to Yahoo! mail, typed up my email, attached the file to it and hit SEND. Thanks for answering my question!

EDA: I've received attached PDA files from emails all the time and they look perfect. I have Acrobat Reader and Word, can I convert a Word file into a PDA file using these two programs?
