"I am an animal, chop off my head and I grow much bigger, what am I?"
My friend has been bugging me with this for weeks and I don't think he has an answer.
Some obvious answers i've come up with are:
Lice
Hydra
Hedgehog
He says none of these are right. Please help before I go crazy!
A hammerhead (shark).
Cut of head you be left the total tool hammer.
Whim
but an hammer isn't bigger than a shark
exackalump candy_girl, i tried that
A hammer is bigger than a hammerhead.
Whim
not really "much" bigger though
thanks anyway, but if you can't come up with anything i havnt thought of immediately, i would guess that its something pointless, or he doesnt have an answer!
the riddle he gave me before was an old classic:
What has a head, but does not think, has a mouth yet does not eat, has a bed yet never sleeps, and can run but has no feet?
He says they are thematically linked, but whether thats just because there is a "head" in both, or not, i do not know.
bass - Ass
Eland - Land
Sheep - Heep
Tabby - Abby
Beagle - Eagle
Brocket - Rocket
Opossum - Possum
Whim
I think that must be the right track
I tried seahorse, but he said that was wrong too, and all those you just gave above.
I think the answer is a worm
it's an animal and if you cut it's head off, each piece will grow new parts.
Its a river. It has a head, mouth, bed, can run. If you chop off off its "head" its bigger.
A sheephead (kind of fish)? Cut off the head and you have a sheep.
