Hi I'm new to this site. I need help resolving a problem with my HP notebook. The monitor backlight is out. I have had this repaired twice, once at a local shop and once with HP. I can see images on the screen in the background but with great difficulty. I have connected an external monitor, and this works fine.
I would like to find out what causes this problem first, and a way to correct it. Secondly, how to repair the backlight
