Polar foil.
A Swedish research group has developed a Mylar-like material that will be welcomed by backpackers all over the world.

Two very thin sheets of metallic foil, composed of a complicated nano structure, capable of generating heat when put together.
One 2 1/2 square meter sheet is silver and the other grey. When a man wraps himself in both sheets, he is capable of sleeping in warm comfort on snow without a tent.
If you scramble the words 'polar foil', you will find out that the Swedes also have some fun on April 1.
