And did you hunt any down.
That is, did you get some down on your claws.
Joe(or do they fly away too fast)Nation
No time to hunt. I was on my way to work. And now I'm here. Crap.
Enjoy the birds.
HEY!!!

Bird Camera here
I wonder if any of our more gizmo gonzo members could figure out how to get a screen capture of this camera?
Watching the little birds out on the porch within twelve inches of falling thirty stories...

Thats natures way of reminding them that gravity bats cleanup.
One chick is up and ready for some grub (do falcons eat grubs??--no) The other is lolling about. (8:21am)
two happy little groomers sittin' there
1:51: Nap time. I imagine that falcons, like babies, grow in their sleep.
Last night, one of the boids was finishing up a feathered morsel. Working at it very hard for a baby. Of course, these guys/gals -what are they?- are only about six weeks from flying off towards the mountains of Fifth Avenue.
This morning they are out front waiting for the parentals to arrive with something birdy or mousey.

mmmmmmm did one of them go overboard in the last 45 minutes?
EhBeth--
You're confirming my fears. I saw only one and postponed wondering until I'd had more tea.
I was worried about the one on the right - and the one on the left has to go missing! maybe it used those stairs?
Now I see two. Perhaps the little darlings were huddled together earlier?
Now that the lost has been found, I'm back to my mulching.
EhBeth--
Exhausting, isn't it?
I almost felt guilty going grocery shopping without being sure both birds were all right
Not to worry--I was on the edge of my chair the whole time you were gone.
Dither with keep them safe.
