Two chicks are having breakfast (6:58Am NYC). Mom seemed to be about finished with trying to hatch the other two eggs. That is the Nature of Nature.

Joe(New York Times just had an article about that)Nation

Not so loving

Now she's out near the porch rail just letting the kiddos have some air.

Must be waiting for Dad to bring more breakfast.

Mom and dad were there for breakfast. (a bird of some kind, lots of feathers left over.

11:14am No parents around.

It's going to rain for the next four days, I wonder if they are out stocking up.

looked like the two little fluffy ones were grooming each other again, mom came by for a patdown

at least one of the other eggs looks (at this great distance) like it might be getting ready to crack

Grooming each other/pecking one another to death.

I'm not sure I can tell the difference.

One parent on ledge.

Bird Cam Here

As you can tell, if you have been watching, we have had four cloudy days here in NYC, very cool as well, but the chickees seem to be okay.

The Parentals both were at breakfast this AM.

The kids are definitely growing--and breakfast was something with many-many detachable feathers.

It rained the whole week here. I felt sorry for the tourists trying to see the city through the drops.

Meanwhile, high above it all and fairly dry, our two chicks seemed to double in size. Good diet or just frizzy feathers?

They're huge!

They were to be banded yesterday.

Looks like they reset camera 3 while they were up there. Great view of the river and bridge as well as a parent on a stick.

See Life on the Edge Here.

I really like the camera setup now. The wide shot with the perch with the East River in the background is the best. Check it out at night. You can't see the birds but the lights on the river are beautiful.

The two cotton balls with beaks are sleeping in this morning.

Finally. A sunshiny day in New York! Both parents attended to breakfast this morning. (Hunting must be very good in the early hours of the day) The chicks are starting to wander about when they are not sleeping.
