Guess what Falcon followers?? Our Falcons at 55 Water St. have laid their fourth egg on March 14th. Incubation started on March 22, 2010 and and the eggs are expected to hatch by April 22nd or April 23rd. Stay tuned for future updates.

The camera won't open for me on Water Street. I'm counting on you, Joe, to let me know what's happening. I can see the boids in PA. Recognizing and remembering that zoned out, who-invented-eggs look from the female.

Four little fluffy white birdies! Mama is feeding them now. Dad is sitting on the top of the shelter looking very proud of himself.

I saw babies in NYC! And a very zoned out falcon in PA.

Last night I was flipping channels. Happened to encounter a falcon in full swoop with a camera nearby and one on the boid. 200 fmph! Holy ****. Phenomenal. It was after a pigeon. The falcon missed. (Pigeons are very good at ducking and diving.) Interesting discussion about how the boids are adapted to that kinda speed. Special something in their nostils to protect their sinuses from the wind. Special stuff in their eyes to keep them from drying out from the wind. Love this stuff.
