@Roberta,
There was a note from the DEP in my mailbox. All 5 eggs have hatched. This is gonna be tense. 5 is not a manageable number. SOmebody's gotta get whacked. Only biology, nothin personal.

I suspect they're trying to find out if you can tuck one in with the lambs.

I saw on the Animal Planet that a dog is raising some tiger cubs. Maybe it could handle a boid as well.

Nature ain't kind.

I saw the kids getting fed. I think I counted four fuzz-buckets. Hard to be sure. Very small and fuzzy--with very big mouths.

That's what I did. Four--or one kid has its mouth shut.

FIVE chicks being fed! Two very small ones, but they're there.

@Roberta,
I feel so guilty. Here we have this abundance of falcon peeps in Harrisburg Pa and the place that started all the FALCON-cams is chickless.

@farmerman,
It's a fine Pennsylvanian flock.

Joe, I picked up the following from the Water Street Web site. They think we can see what's going on. I tried the camera and got nothing but a loading message. Have you tried lately?

Mat 4,2009 (posted on May 04, 2009)

Great news!!! As you can see our expected eyases have arrived. Eyases are nestling or young falcons. The first eyas arrived Tuesday, the second one Wednesday night, the third one arrived yesterday morning, and the fourth this morning. As you can see, they are doing well. Stay tuned to watch our new additions grow to be beautiful falcons. We will keep you posted as to when they will be ready to be banded by the DEP.

@Roberta,
Joe, it's time for you to run on down there and knock on their door. Take Thomas, he can work on his "I'm here from Joisey, with a message" message.

There are still five babies. These parents are hard workers. The kids are growing fast. Baby fluff is disappearing.
