@farmerman,
I saw an oval brownish thing in the nest. It looked like an egg, but I couldn't see the whole thing.

@Roberta,
Youre right. There's a single egg in the nesting box. http://www.dep.state.pa.us/dep/falcon/

Heres the PA web site brought over from the prev page. One egg, 4 to go.

@farmerman,
Glad to know I wasn't hallucinating. Seems kind of early for eggs.

Just saw two parent birds in PA. The one sitting on the eggs has that zoned out look.

Three eggs in PA--and a weird shape/shadow. Could be a broken egg. Could be a dead mouse/bird.

@Joe Nation,
They sometimes get disturbed and move on when theys ense that their not wanted. The couple that took up residence neath the WRightsville Bridge between Lancaster and York County Pa (over the Susquehanna River), got outta the way when the STate Highway guys were out there screwing around the armpits of the bridge during nesting time this year. The hawks then set up a new residence on the cliffs of Chiques Rock on the Lancaster Side. This rock is off limits by fencing because so many people have jumped to their deaths presumably unrelated to their peregrine falcon dissapointnment..

@Roberta,
Thanks for the update.
Maybe I should call the building and see if they are just not doing the camera this year or if it's on the blink.

@Joe Nation,
The first egg in POA has hatched and I was just watching the husband bird feeding his spouse. Very touching except she was bitching all the time. Women!

Saw parts of three white fluff balls. Don't know if the other two eggs have hatched or not.
