Does this mean that everybody has a problem because the feed on the camera isn't working right? Or does it mean that the camera is working and that my computer is having a problem with the feed?

Check out the Pennsylvania site. There's a falcon there RIGHT NOW. Not on a ledge. In the gravel.

I'm keeping my eye on both sites--Noo Yawk and PA. I've seen a falcon several times at the PA site. There's an egg on the gravel. Just saw a bird pushing it under her.

Bupkis as the NY site--so far.

Did a bit of research. Falcon eggs can be that color. Also so the bird push it under her and sit on it.

Re the PA site: I saw a bird sitting on the perch late yesterday afternoon. Saw a bird getting ready to take off this morning. No one is sitting on the egg. I'm getting the feeling that it takes two birds to successfully tend a nest. Don't know where the second bird is, but the last I saw, the egg was unattended.

Re the NY site: Nada.

Soooooooo cool to see that second egg in Pennsylvania. Not sure why no boid is tending them though.

beth, The mother bird is sitting on them a lot. But I think she's all alone and needs to go hunting during the day. Don't know where the other bird is. You can always find her on the eggs early in the morning and right before dusk.

Joe, Glad to know that I'm not the only gravel analyzer.

I like gravel analysing because it forces me away from doing the unimportant things on my list: like clearing off this desk.

(Where did I put that huge folder of checks I am supposed to be giving out to interesting people?? I am so far behind on that project.)

I really need to send out the thank you notes from Christmas.

Oh, and the donation boxes are still blocking the way in front of my dresser causing me to utilize the same three pair of boxer briefs over and over. I tried calling them long briefs but the cognitive dissonance was too loud.

Gravel Analysis has a nice little roll in it's sound, something about the nearness of the 'el' and 'al' with the snakehiss sis at the end.

Besides there are a lot of things to consider in the execution of an observation: Is that actual evidence of movement or merely a shadow? The face on Mars fooled a lot of people for a long time, but not the gravel analysts.
