blatham, my own note-keeping skill and scheduling expertise frequently enable me to wonder where I put something or whether I followed through on something else. I do, however, recall your having referrenced "Helen" and your having said "Hi" to me in an Abuzz thread. Whether I acknowledged same or not, I have no idea. I BELIEVE I did, but then, I BELIEVED BetaMax would supplant VHS. Confused

You sound like just the sort of fellow I can share my safe combination with.

I had it figured that space craft would all be made of melmac.

I, for once, am in the majority!32% of us are 56 to 65!! Kewel Cool But, in birthday,I'm only 26.
Which would I rather be? I think I may have been riddled with terror at 26. A husband in graduate school, a 2 year old and a 6 year old, and the wolf at the door. Now I'm much more assured, dare I say wiser? And the wolf? He's not so close to the door, although with the market the way it's been.....hmmmmmm.
Hi Li'L K!
And Hi Gezzy! Mel fine?

Just two of us(?), but then that explains why we only obtained the low of just 4%. Oh well that is how the cookie crumbles.
Looks like we have a lively group of young 'uns. Like I, sort of, work out at a gym, but have to remember even some of my slang is outdated, but then I have been outdated on what I call many motorcycle parts due to what we called them on our British irons in prior yrs like 'mudguard' is called fender, how I write aluminium or especially pronounce it (yes the Brits had that extra "i"), etc.
A minor bit of difference tends to spice things up & make it better.

I've been "on the loose" for my entire life of 67 years, except for the four years I served in the US Air Force. The "happiest" day of my life was my discharge date, and when that bus rolled out of Walker AFB in New Mexico for the very last time. Freedom at last! c.i.

Wow, if only you had posted this poll a couple of months ago, I would have been in the younger category! But, as it is, at age 36, It'll be a while before I get bumped up again...

I'm 40 and I think that's a pretty cool age. When I look back at these 40 years - or what I can remember - I don't want to go back, no way! I like myself now a lot better. I have a loving husband who accepts me just the way I am - and I do to - accept myself I mean.

Thanks for the warning, Phoenix......I'll remember that. But I suppose it is a compliment......I take it as such. Even though I keep reminding everyone that these legs are just an avatar. Thank you c.i. too......very nice of you to notice.

if i can pull it off and get someone to watch the dog i'll be at the 11th st bar, McSorley's, St Dymphna's and various other watering holes in the city for xmas, just a day or 2 wandering around the lower east side, looking for Lolas Salon, and those lovely legs.

i'll report back later boys on the legs.....if i find em tho, i might never come back.
