First of all, I think it's great when people of all ages and backgrounds can exchange debate, whim & battle as equals like is done here at A2K around the clock.

I'm sure I'm just being annoying with this here, but hey I'm curious as to what's the average age of all us A2K newbies, enthusiasts, & groupies. Wink I'm assuming Craven & I are among the youngest here (at 22 & 17). Well, since there's no 'Age' field in user profiles I figured this would be the best way to figure it all out. (Hey it's no Inquisition here; just curious.)

That's it... Live it up!!!

Just over a quarter century, my friend, assuming you start counting from the date of the most recent divorce.

When I was a wee tyke we still had clouds of pterodactyls darkening the sky. Had to fight off the sabre-tooth tigers to get to the carrion which fed us. Times were tough back then. You young 'uns don't know. Trip from Boston to New York could take as much as two weeks, what with the roads being washed out and having to detour to avoid attacks from the Mohawks and Abenaquis. I tell ya, it's a wonder I survived.

When I was a young man (a long time ago)
approximately Pleistocenic or so
I received from my parents, advices (unheeded,
hell, it was good times as the ices receded)

"For us", dad said, "getting to school was a trial
Yup, we had to dig down through the ice for a mile
And then, if our homework was late or was poor
we were killed on the spot by the Principal's Gloor

"Now, Gloors were creatures that lived in the ice
they were mean and unclean and didn't smell very nice
But we worked hard and ate all our ichthyosaur
And if you do, you'll live to a ripe 54.
