The odor one receives while peeling a fully-rippened peach is like the ocean. You just want to dive into it!

the smell of the man I love - must be the pheromones
and
the ocean; it's such a peaceful place, I love to sit very close to the water and close my eyes while breathing in the salt air; the water itself just seems to quiet my mind
and
chocolate cake as it's almost done baking in the oven

Aside from my earlier posts.....I've remembered something else.....
The smell of moth balls. Not a very attractive smell, but my Nana was a stickler for moth balls in every storage area of her home, and it's a comforting smell to me because I spent a lot of time in Nana's house. And I miss her all the time. All the time.

well what a vast scent of odors or is it a nostril of smells. Perhaps some would be a stench of composts. Anyway I couldn't find a collective noun, so i made some up.
We have here a glorious collection of nasal emotions to inhale. Thank you one and all.
I see I have a neighbor from hertfordshire in pinkroses immediately above me

Only a gardener could like this one:
The heady smell of the compost & horse manure mix I put on my front garden a few weeks ago .... Fantastic!

My favourite smell is a woman's cassolette.
It's the truth.
After that it's fresh baking bread, Marmite, the smell of the leather upholstery in my car when I open the door and anything that manifests a long forgotten memory.

My favorite smell is Patchouli. I get to smell it all the time as I use it in my car as my air freshener and I'm always driving somewhere.
