No Girl So Sweet

In came the girl with the sad eyes and asked him over again
"Was I too weak? Was I a child?" and
"Can't we leave here and start again?"
Said "I don't mind if you take me down" and
"I don't mind if you break it all", but
"How much more can you take from me?"
"How much more can you take from me?"

"I'd like to take you inside my head"
"I'd like to take you inside of me"
"You came from Heaven" is all he said
"You came from Heaven and came here to me, and I love you..."

He drove it fast to make the night
And looked at his angel, where she lay
Resting her head and closed her eyes
Outside the heat and the Summer fades
Deep in the sky, a storm he'd seen
Deep in the sky, a storm he'd seen
"There ain't nothing, no girl so sweet"
"Took her from Heaven and gave her to me"
Pj Harvey

Ya, know, hebba. This happens occasionally on A2K. It's sorta hard to know what's been done and what hasn't been done, unless you've searched them all out. I had a duplicate, too. Oh, well, part and parcel of the package, I guess Rolling Eyes

What a great variety guys and gals.

So a few more of mine

Beetroot cooking --- a childhood memory of our local greengrocer who would cook a large batch of it for his customers. We still buy beetroot uncooked and cook it at home. Better than prepackaged from the supermarket.
A fishmonger's shop, you can smell the sea, even tho it might be 100 or miles away. The bloody seagulls are overhead again.
Fresh baked bread. My taste buds are having a nervous breakdown

The smell of motion picture film. Nitrate film stock has a very powerfull smell. Modern safety film stock far less. But open a film can and just inhale. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Beetroot - that's one of the "most uggliest" smells I know: the complete house is stinking! (And thus I don't eat them.)

Hi everyone!
Some of these are duplicates I think...
Coffee
Cinnamon
Chocolate
Citrus
Salt air/The ocean
New cut grass
Roses
Lavender
Libraries, used book shops, old books
Clay
Fire burning in chimneys during the winter
Snow (I know this isn't scientific but perhaps a psychological thing)

Rae -- All the guys in my high school wore much too much Polo by Ralph Lauren. They ruined it for me forever, whenever I get a whiff of it--I get flashbacks to homeroom--yeek!

That "new car" smell, especially a leather interior
Pickle brine
Carrots cooking with honey and cinnamon

Lavender, lavenderlavender.

Bacon frying.

Fa - can't find it, but I loved it. And you're right about the old FA. One of the cleanest smells.

And I'm still partial to Chanel #5 and Ivoire.
