Changing name on start menu

I just gave away my old computer that was running Window's '98 and bought a new computer. I got a call from the person a few days ago asking me how to remove my name from the start menu. I told her that I can't remember. How can the new owner remove my name and add her son's name since he is going to use the computer? Thanks!

the name that exists on the start menu is the name of the user logged on, to get a new name there you need to create a new account on control panel under user accounts and log on with that profile.

Make sure they create the new account as an administrator account.
Then when they log in they can delete your old profile and that will be that.
