Wireless Network

I have a Netgear rangemax wireless router and I am trying to set up my home network and I am having trouble. I have tried two different ways. First, I have tried using the 'Set Up Wireless Network Wizard' but that didn't work. There is a step that asks me to plug my USB storage device in to my WAP. The problem is is that my wireless router does not have a USB port.

The second way I tried was to try manually configuring the settings in the router myself. On the bottom of the router is the access address, the user name, and the password. When I try to access, I am told that the password is invalid.

What do I do?

I appreciate any help any one can offer.

Thanks
