i believed in the goodness of all
pleasing, forgiving, and forgetting
afterall its human to err.
even when i was given no reason to believe,
i did whole heartedly.
even when you gave no indication of reciprocating
i was there giving my heart to all of you.
for our friendship id go to the end of the world and back.
in my dreamy blindness i missed the signs.
i gave all of you everything i had
even when i had none to give,
but just once i asked and i did not recieve.
bad timing i said, that is all, bad timing.
over and over and over again i gave u excuses
i kept giving, you kept taking.
while i was hurting the most
no one listened, no one cared.
i in my foolish dreamers paradise
created a friendship from dust
and to dust it will return.
a masochist i am not.
naieve? perhaps, but no more.
ask no more, take no more, for i will give no more.
This is a well written demonstration of a set of experiences.
It will fit well with the findings of others.
BUT...
you did not give in order to receive.
Your mistake, if any, is that you chose the wrong people, and that is down to pure luck unless you are unusually canny!
Do not miss the opportunity to choose different people to help, and remember also that sometimes it is strangers who will respond with help for your needs.
