VII Motives in Being
i Natural rights
1) Entities in the physical experience have natural rights, responsibilities and expectations.
2) They have the right to freely function within the limits imposed by class of form.
3) They have the responsibility in their being to allow other entities the same rights without infringement.
4) They come into existence having the knowledge of relative expectation between classes of form.
ii Consumption value
1) In the course of living it is necessary for higher evolved forms to exist at the expense of lower forms.
2) The taking of life between different classes of form for survival and growth is expected.
3) "For that which we are about to consume, we are thankful. May its furtherance of Being, through us, be glorified and we pray we may learn to appreciate its life as its death."
iii Caring is sharing
1) Each entity enters into life with different benefits and needs.
2) Since all entities have a common "master" purpose, it is beneficial to each entity to aid in the existence and growth of other entities.
3) "To some it is given that they shall receive; to others that they shall give."
4) "Rejoice not in your abundance for your own sake but for the opportunity your abundance gives through you."
iv Prayer tunes you in
1) The purpose of prayer is as a tuning device.
2) Prayer tunes entities into singleness of being and Harmoniousness of purpose.
3) "Our God, our Guides, and fellow Spirits, we thank Thee for Thy countenance. Pray continue to abide with us."
4) "We are thankful for this past day,
And pray that we have grown along the Way;
In sleep we turn in search of Thee,
For Knowledge, Wisdom and Harmony."
5) "We thank Thee for another day,
That we may Love and Grow along the Way;
Pray guide our feet where they may go,
That we may help all others Grow."
v Religion and church
1) The common purpose of religion is to aid the entity in its search for Truth.
2) Each entity's level of development and understanding is different.
3) It takes many different styles of religion to accommodate the growth needs of entities at various times.
4) The value of a religion can be judged by its operation and intended accomplishments.
5) Churches exist for the benefit of entities.
6) Churches are to religion what a bathtub is to water.
7) They allow the entity an opportunity to soak in the fellowship of like-minded entities.
8) Churches also allow an entity a method through which to share.
