I'm thinking of taping this tonight but a buddy said last night that he found it unwatchable because of Terence Stamps awful cockney accent. Any comments on this from ABers?
Fresco I got the story wrong it was a conversation between four people and I understood my pal too say it was on Hallmark but it isn't so I rang him and he swears he said it was from Hallmark not ON Hallmark.
Hallmark is the name of our local video shop.
This is a Soderbergh good movie -- got great critical reviews so if you like other Soderberg films like "Sex, Lies and Videotape," you might really like this one. It's a riveting thriller in the best tradition of Hitchcock.
Thanks LW there is never anything on worth watching on saturday night so I'm off to get a copy now
Not spot on Cockney accents might bother those in that part of London but don't see what it has to do with the overall quality of the movie.
I saw it when it first came out. All I really remember is that I liked it.
