Please help...Every now and then my computer shuts down and restarts on its own accord... sometimes overnite when its not being used at all..

First suspicion aroused by that set of symptoms/error reports would be a hardware issue, not software; faulty, missmatched, or improperly seated RAM comes immediately to mind.

While your logs are relatively clean, I'd suggest you get rid of PalTalk - it is an adware vector, and itself is ad-supported, ad-serving. It would not however, have anything to do with the problem you report.

You might wanna try a system restore - go back to a point before the onset of the problem if you can. That might or might not help; if you DO have a physical RAM problem, a restore won't do a bit of good, but its worth a shot.

If it doesn't help, then I'd suggest physically checking out your RAM - and if you don't know how, then its prolly best for you to take the machine to a reputable repair facillity, or find a freind with the know-how.
