Thx. I used to do a lot of internet research during my college days, and then a little bit during a former profession of mine. I hope the buyer enjoys his new find.

I think, it's really a great find - though I still have no idea why the "Office of sending" of that telegram is related to Nokia.
(At least, no place or town equal and/or similar is to be found on any
Finnish map.)
The telegram may not be from Finland, it may be from Washington State USA. The place name may be in Salish or a related local Native American language. I did a quick google search and could find no such Salish word but the suffix gageq has similarities and it is possible Sandygageq is a Salish place name that has been mangled into something and English speaker could pronounce and the misspelled by the telegraph office.
Thanks to everyone! Ehbeth, it's handwritten in large cursive but the 2 letter "g"s have big loops and the last letter just has a vertical stroke - it's clearly a q. The answer to the location seems enigmatic still but I have passed all the info on to the buyer and he can delve into it further if he likes. Well, it's been great for me as a fairly new member to see how everyone has rallied around to try to help and I am so glad to have found this site - it was recommended to me by Clary - for those of you who see her posts, she went to school with me (quite some time ago it has to be said!)
Walter,
Go to google.com, put in "Nokia, Finland," and you will get results.

Walter,
Okay. Your previous post seemed to imply that you could not find the existence of such a place. Just trying to help.

Some doubt that there's a lot on the internet which I can't find ...
I just realized that this site cannot decipher Chinese character, which is what those wierd symbols in my first post are. Sorry, but I just realized that right now.
