In honor of this auspicious occasion, I have brought cabernet and puff pastry for the crowd.

<passes glasses around, uncorks bottle>

So glad you didn't sink, LordE! Love you to pieces! (Not ALL your pieces, of course...at least not literally, but...well, you know....um, this is just getting worse...hand me that bottle, will you Montana?...)

Well of course. Here you go, Eva :-) Ahhh, nothing like a nice glass of cabernet, or two ;-)

Cheers to Sir. Lord Ellpus for his amazing unsinking abilities <clink> :-D

I'm still stuck on Lord E hitting his bunghole with a wogglehook. Why does that image linger?

(Raises a55... I mean glass.)

That was the first time I had encountered a wogglehook, but have since become pretty familiar with the implement.
There's a lot to be said for a good wogglehooking, especially when one's futtocks are being constrained by a good length of cordwangle.

(Sailors terms.....Farmerman would understand)

Madame Dagmorocco, I was answering Crazy Diamond on the previous page.

Madame Eva,
Sadly, the Queen George took a wrong turn at some point, and we are currently steaming past the shores of Somalia. The natives seem to be quite excited about our presence, and are coming out to meet the ship in small motorized craft, waving some sort of noise-making device in their hands.
pop pop pop... How festive indeed !

Ah! The traditional Somalian welcome party! I do hope the staff of the good Queen George gave all of you instructions on proper protocol, Penborough. You are to wave small cloth dolls at them with one hand as you stick pins in the dolls with the other hand. Chant, and let your eyes roll your eyes back in your head as you do this. It's part of the custom.

Here's a doll. I'm sure you can ask your cabin steward for some pins.
