In my eyes, the pic looks like I'm 'trapping' Lacey, but I swear ~ she is quite content to sit on my lap and have me pet her ~ I've never held her against her will.

Back to the topic at hand ~ my new avatar is me. Completely.

Thanks again to Craven for his help. Very Happy

Disclamer: it is NOT a sausage draped around 'tender Veronica' (name of this art piece)!!! (I was asked in another thread). It is made by a Czech photographer (hence reminds me of home) A. Saudek and it shows 2 faces of the above mentioned tender Veronica - one grave if not provocative, other grimacing. Suits me greatly. Will not get rid of it even if it appals some. there.

Oh well, the lady Veronica did have exposed nipples, thus crafty littlek covered them with sherif's stars, but they're too small to be viewed. That has nothing to do with me though. I prefer full clothing.

Can you link to the full pic somewhere? I always squint at it but just can't really SEE it. I mean, I know it's a lady, but the expressions you mention aren't really evident to me.

I've never found a place where I fit in, kind of like being stranded from another planet. My people are gone. Also, skiing and motorcycling quite a bit I often wear "one eye". Hence, the little green guy.

On another note, I hear many people choose online personas they dream they could live up to. Some avatars reflect what a person needs and lacks, rather than what they are.

I've noticed that A2K invites more honesty than pretense though! Smile

In some ways my avatar is a reflection of me. But I think it's more a reflection of my taste/preferences. I love animals, and I find black animals (cats, horses, dogs) especially attractive.

I identify with this avatar because the cat and I both have green eyes. And let's face it. This is not a pussycat to be taken lightly--also, I think, a reflection of me.

I know that other people have the same avatar. At one point, I decided to change, but I couldn't find one I liked as much. So now I don't care how many other people have the panther. The one with the name Roberta next to it is me.

Nice to see the Moondoggy's avatar in the Craven stack!

Now if only we could get the 'doggy to surface! Confused

I think my avatar speaks a lot of me.

I'm usually quite but I can be very determined when I want to be. I am very gentle but can be very harsh if I need to be, or if its something I feel passionately about.

For some reason I have always have had a connection with the unicorn, for reasons unknown to me. I have seen some people drawn to Dragons and other mythical beasts the same way.

Any idea's why?
