Which one did you like better?
I found Wedding Crashers much funnier. And since my sense of humor rocks the casbah, I would have thought my opinion was shared by all.
However, after much discussion with other idiot friends, I found the consensus to be split.
This is your chance.
Haven't seen Wedding Crashers yet, but I LOVED 40 Year Old Virgin.
I just traded my friend my DVD of wedding crashers for the 40 year old virgin.
I don't know.
The "MA! MEATLOAF! FU#K!!!" quote gets me every time.
40-Year Old Virgin had one really funny scene and then a bunch of somewhat funny little lines here and there. I laughed, yes, but not through the whole thing. And the end was kind of goofy, but not in a good way.
Wedding Crashers was hilarious, and the funny scenes actually kept getting funnier as the movie went on. And that scene with the hand job under the table is a classic. I was busting out laughing when I saw that scene the first time.
Wedding Crashers wins by a mile in my book.
I thought wedding crashers was funny..
but a bit too much of a chick style flick for me
ya know.. boy meets girl, girl has problems, boy over comes problems FOR girl
and they live happily ever after. >sigh<
But besides that.. i liked it. ;-)
I heard before seeing it how Wedding Crashers was funny for the first 40 minutes, then got too sappy. But I thought it was funny all the way through. Will Ferrell gave it a nice boost in the end.
i thought it was definatly a funny film..
but
ehh... just kinda turned off by the sappy part of it.
but, thats just me. ;-)
Looks like we're perfect for each other, shewolf. You're the top, I'm the bottom.
Ouch.

Yes. KY has a new warming massage oil/lube.
I can't wait to get alone with my Boy Scout magazines long enough to try it.
40 Year Old Virgin seemed as if it was set up on a lot of ad libbed scenes--the one-on-one dialogues between the different characters for example-- that felt forced and didn't really work.
Steve Carell's character was pretty charismatic, though, and he made premise believable.
Wedding Crashers was a better movie all around, though. It was better made, better acting, funnier. Vince Vaughn was the funniest character aside from Will Ferrell's cameo.
That Ferrell quote is hilarious!
MA! MEATLOAF! F@#K !!!
And that exasperated look on his face!
