Went to see the UK premiere of Deep Sea 3D at the IMAX Waterloo tonight followed by a Q&A. Free wine, beer and popcorn. It opens on Friday 3rd March.
Normally a coke and popcorn there is £6 - 50p! I always buy my munchies at tesco on the way to the cinema. I hate paying more for the snacks than the ticket.

Anyway, Deep Sea was spectacular viewing in 3D. You could almost reach out and touch the fish. You won't see anything you haven't seen elsewhere by the likes of Jacques Cousteau or David Attenborough, but on the giant screen it really is amazingly spectacular. It's a pity it only lasts for just under 40 minutes. I can't believe they only had enough footage for a 40 minute film. I imagine they have another 40 minutes at least in the can which they will release soon to get everyone to go again.

Welcome to A2K, phoney (that reads like I am insulting you but not with intent), and I will be looking for that at my local IMAX (which, unfortunately, is now clear up in LA unless Regal decides to begin showing them again in Irvine).

My son will love this film, no doubt. I'll tell him about it.

Welcome to A2K, phoney.
