Confessions
We all have them,
Whether they are out into the open,
Or kept inside,
They still exist.
Some confessions are strong enough to break a mans pride,
His will,
And drive him insane.
Leaving him wondering where in life he went wrong.
For the lucky ones,
Their confessions are weak enough to be pushed down,
Ignored,
Swept into the darkest corners,
Under the rug,
Stored into the farthest, most distant closet of the human mind,
Along with the rest of the fast-fading isolated memories.
There comes a time,
When one must confess,
When one must put everything out into the open,
As for me,
That time is now.
I have one confession,
One True Confession.
No matter the outcome,
No matter the verdict,
I don't want one thing to change,
And that is our friendship.
We have been friends for so long,
I rather have you in my life as a friend,
Then not have you at all.
My One True Confession, you ask?
That's easy
.
And that's My Love for You.
