Could someone tell me how I can print out my bookmarked websites?
My computer is not the healthiest at the moment and I don't want to lose them if anything happens to it.
Please? HELP???!!!
I can't work out how I can do it and Help is
no help
I am not sure of an EASY way, but if you want to take the time, you can copy and paste each address into a word file, then print that. ?
this would mean opening up every
single
one
of them.. >sigh<
I was hoping for an easy way of accessing a list to print but can see I may have to do that
thanks though shewolf
there may BE a way.. Im just not aware of it.
But if your computer is slowly starting to go out on you, you may not have alot of time before you cant access them anymore.
>sigh<
computer problems are horrid.
Phoenix I don't have an
export option, just
import
and I can't find that option anywhere else - I've got XP.
Thanks for trying.
The problem with the computer is it's a laptop and one of the hinges is totally broken, so I have to be very very careful with it. Otherwise it works fine.
Vivien- That is so strange. When you hit "file", right under "send", does it say "Import and Export"? I don't think that having a laptop should make a difference. XP is XP!

there is an import/export wizard for WindowsXP (I just tested mine)
save them to a file you can put on a disk

I don't have and Import-Export entry on my File menu, either. I use Firefox.
Yes, it can be done site by site, and it does mean opening each site, which is a very dull task, but it does help you clear out unwanted or dead sites.
Here's a site with advice on backing up Firefox bookmarks using freeware.

I just also tested this suggestion ...

I backup my favorites simply by opening Firefox, going into "manage bookmarks" then selecting "export" from the File menu to save them.
I actually export them directly to the portable version of Firefox I have on a USB drive.
there is indeed an export function within Firefox - but you've got to go in through "manage bookmarks" before you look in the File menu.
