Well done Canada, your ladies curling team have just got through to the semi finals! Bloody well done!
Of course, this means that the GB team are now knocked out, but I won't hold it against you.
<sob>
is that ICE hockey - or real hockey?
There is no other hockey exceptin' for ice hockey.
Them's the rules, baby.
Too bad that our men aren't as tough as our ladies. :-)
Doesn't mean you're a REAL country, you know.
About as real as you can get, baby cakes
You appear to be wearing a rug, Bill.
Let's hope the men's wake up against the Czech eh? It's gonna be tough...

Jeez - I thought I saw some games at the Sydney Olympics called hockey - and they didn't involve any ice. Of course, they didn't involve any Canucks, either!
I think some Australians ended up with some gold medals!

That's called field hockey. There's also street hockey.
Ice hockey has been a big professional sport for quite some time. I don't like the rough stuff, but I like the game overall.
I don't think you can call any of those sports the "real" hockey.

No!!! oh no no no no! czechs are good, humble, poor folk. let them have the medal...at least silver. Gold should of course go to Slovakia, which is even gooder, humbler and poorer.
The Czech republic advanced and can very well win Gold.
pssst, anyone knows how the slovaks are doing? i wasn't watching, but i feel it my patriotic duty to remain informed at least.
