Anyone else notice the european slant on the scoring of events involving artistry (such as halfpipe, aerials, and moguls)?

It seems you get bonus points if you can incorporate any move from "Saturday Night Fever".

Well from what I've seen on those trick events is that the Europeans/Americans are generally better at them and at the Winter Olympics in general. The Summer Olympic in general is more balanced.

The only non European/American country in the top 10 in medal count at the Olympics now is China at like 8.


And I don't understand why alot of people feel that these "artistry" oriented events are unworthy of the olympics. Personally I'm MUCH more excited with moguls and halfpipe than I am with speed skating or alpine skiing.
