I think that's grossly unfair... non mia culpa![/i]

I was playing a straight bat and confining myself to the subject at hand when out of the blue the lady inserted the wild-card of flirtatious coquetry to divert me from my more serious purpose...

Well, being a gentleman - how could I be so boorish as to remain coldly indifferent to her romantic overtures, and her eminently understandable feminine infatuation for me... ?

Being a generous and charitable soul I have very kindly responded to her need to idolise me as an iconic example of the embodiment of the best qualities of the male gender... Cool

Hi sweetheart! Yes, I missed you. http://67.18.37.14/html/emoticons/wub.gif You're a breath of fresh air around here. You're one of the few here who isn't suffering from a serious case of Ideological Anal-Retentive Personality Disorder which is characterised by a stubborn insistence that to criticise 40-years of indiscriminate immigration and multicultural policy is tantamount to declaring oneself to be in league with the Devil.

Er... where were we?... ah yes... (I just know I'm going to regret this, but there's a lemming born every minute)... okay Toots - I'll bite! What do they say about Canadian women... ? (... and don't forget to post the graphics...http://www.xtrememass.com/forum//images/smilies/1214/cooleek3.gif).

Not necessarily. Just because a blind person cannot see doesn't mean they can't learn to "discriminate" based on some subjective criteria.

Human beings have a number of senses, without sight ALL
of our other sense would be remarkably heightened.
We would hear things we don't pay attention to, smell things
we now ignore, and I think that our capacity for both positive
and negative emoting would remain as it is now. You can not
have dark without knowing light, nor light without knowing
darkness. I think that love & hate would remain 2 sides of
the strange coin of the realm of the human range of emotion.

I would say that it wouldn't solve the problem of hate. It would just impair them. I wouldn't want to be blind! How would I read and be aware of my surroundings?

"Impair" is the correct word. It will not be so easy to kill other humans if we're all blind.

Don't be so typically alarmist. Love is blind. God is Love. God is blind. Blind love is Godly. Get with the programme atypical and seek your Divine potential by wearing a blind-fold as you go about your day.

And don't forget to drive slowly and keep in the left lane.

well... even if it did create a world free of hate... then how would we all define love with nothing to compare it too? I think hatred is needed to balance the existance of love out and bring it into "realization"... and I've heard before, Hatred is the absence of love, but still. You'd grow so accoustumed to love you would not only be uncapable in appretiating it, but you coudn't comprehend it's existance either because of lack of comparison... I think, comparison brings everything into existance.
