Stop by often, Yu, the Oztralians are very active at this site, and i suspect they'll be here at the same time of day as you will be.

I hope you get to travel to Australia, like your friend, Yu.
I would love to visit Japan! Very Happy

By the way, what time is it there now?
It's a little past 10:30 pm (22:30) here in Melbourne.

Yu - "Oztralian" means Australian.

Some people from Australia (such as myself) call it Oz as a sort of joke.

Oz is a fantasy country in a series of books by American author, Frank Baum (I think) - one of these books, "The Wizard of Oz" was made into a very famous film starring Judy Garland in 1939.

Some Australians also remember a very naughty satirical magazine published in England by expatriate Australians, also called "Oz". The publishers were tried in England for pornography, for publishing an edition satirizing a famous English cildrens's comic strip character, called Rupert the Bear, on whom they drew large genitalia. This happened in the 1960's and was one of the things that typified the gap between the generations at the time.

Welcome to A2k!

hi,Craven de Kere!
you know, both China and Shanghai have made a great progress over the past few years.Shanghai now is a modern city whose nightlife is so exciting and wonderful.
you can go KTV rooms to sing songs throughout the night with your friends.
or the entertainment center is also a good place for young people where you can play cards, play billiards with the cheerful drinks and so on.
have you benn to Shanghai or China ever?
what's your sense of my city?

I have been to china as a child, I don't remember anything. My memories of Hong Kong are mean and nasty.

although i haven't been to HK,i think HK also changes a lot. it is not the same as what in your memor.HK is a typical and robust economic region in China.HK is a developed paradise where you can do shopping crazily as you like.
i think you'd better change your out-of-date views of HK,if you have a chance, revisit HK,and i think HK will give you a brand new look.

Hello, I'm in the Philippines right now. Baguio City is a place 5,000 feet above sea level so it is cooler than most places in Asia. I am a Filipino by ancestry and a Californian by residency.
