A simple question .... do we dream our lives, or live our dreams.

Is cognitive thought internal, or external?
Or ...... more to the point......if you would..... what would explain the genesis of thought?

Must it be one or the other? It seems silly to think it can't be some combination of both.

It very well could be both. Somewhere along the path we crossed over the threshold between thought, and reason. What, if any, thoughts fill a newborn's dreams and could those thoughts be considerd cognitive?

Are dreams based on your memories or on your thoughts?

Hell if thats a simple question, maybe by the length of how long it takes to say, but that question is loaded so full of lead that it would launch a body through 7 brickwalls, then stand over them and laugh.
------------------------------------
Anyways- Here is my take:
Every perons life, is a biography, written by someone else. During their life, they are either living their biography, or the narrator of you biography has read ahead, or had wandered off the subject. As I said, the biography is our life. The narator, holds where we are in place in our life, our biography- and when he reads ahead or goes off subject, this is when we get dejavu or dreams. When we are not dreaming, we are listening to the narator, listening to his words, and to his feelings as he encorporates them, telling us- about our lives.
-----------------------------------
And if this isn't true- PM me and tell me what the hell is.

I hope I have finally answered that question for good, and now it should be gone forever. If it DOES happen to come up again- just copy my post and post it their. You don't have to quote my name, but it would be nice if you did.

By the way, the name is Sam.

In the world of
the pathetically simple
where truth springs
from lie.....
truth speaker of all
that enters the temple
what dark lord shall judge
the mistakes of the watcher?

The dream falls both out
of and into
the eye
