We euthanize our pets but force ourselves, our parents, our children, and neighbors to SUFFER when there is no chance for recovery.

Now, really--does that make sense?

I don't believe it does.

Exactly.

An interesting idea there Momma Angel "He broke the law"
Now I was taught that, regarding laws - we all have our own
county ordinances and laws etc, then we have our own state
legislators involved in making laws for the state we live in.
Then comes federal law, and last BUT MOST IMPORTANT,
are our CONSTITUTIONAL LAWS. This group of laws, these
are the laws that still guarantees us our rights as free American
citizens. And in terms of law .... the higher court decision
always supersedes the lower court law. That's why lawyers
appeal a state law ruling. If it can be found in conflict with
ANY HIGHER COURT law, then you throw out the earlier
decision by the lower court. Our constitution guarantees us
the right to life, to liberty and to the pursuit of happiness.
And a whole lot more. But, regarding an inevitable horribly
painful, frightening certain death -- I just want to stop here
and to ask everyone to ask themselves WHY? WHY is it that
some people truly, deeply believe that we have no right to
interfere with "the course of nature?" perhaps? Is that the
way you see it?
Because the way I SEE it, is that as long as we have the
right to life, AND death is an inevitable & an inseparable
part of life. In fact no one of us is gonna get out of here
alive.
Sounds to me like plain ignorance and predjudice. Just like
those preachers all over our country telling parents that it was
wrong to interfere and stop the death of their beloved little "blue
babies." Something is really strange about this country. And
it has alot to do with predjudice and judging other human beings.
Every one of us enters this life alone and every one of us leaves
this life alone. Since this is a solitary journey, the method of
travel and the time of departure is best decided upon by the
ONLY ONE MAKING THE TRIP.

Why in the f**k is this guy in jail?????? I forgot all about him.

We kill a thousands innocent people that don't want to die and put a guy in jail for killing terminally i'll people that want to die.

What a nutty ass world. It's like living in a Kafka book.
