Chai, I think I possibly know how you are going wrong with your posts, as I used to do it until someone put me right.

Now, when you are posting, are you always pressing the "IMG" button, which opens the separate box for your photo URL?

If you are just pasting the URL straight onto this large text area, it will only come out the way your previous post did.

Worth a go....

OK Whew, finally got the hang of using the preview button.

Yeah, I'm more of a combination of Peggy Wanker Bundy and Patty Duke

You also had that photo in "bitmap", Chai. That always causes problems for me.

I grabbed your photo url, changed it to jpeg, and .....

No, I'm using the IMG button, just keep picking screwy pics I guess.

Now I know to use the preview first.

Gotta go exercise and eat....I'll be back later

Yeah, like Peggy Bundy, but with a much bigger butt.

If you have a photo processing programme on your computer (Photosuite etc), you can put the pic in there, and then change it from bitmap to jpeg.

I'm no expert, but I've never had a bitmap that has worked. My lad knows more about it, and he says that bitmap takes up far more capacity.

Hi Intrepid.

S'funny, I saved it to my computer, pressed properties and it showed as bmp.

Why would that be?

Louise Brooks' name happens to come up in conversations with interesting men about interesting women...

I took a chest xray of Jayne Mansfield (sp?). I know, I know, it's possibly unethical to tell, but it was just about fifty years ago and only a routine thing.

I'm working on thinking of attractive women and only men come to mind.

Will google a bit to see if I have any snappy ideas.

Wow!

I mean, there's meeting a celebrity, and meeting a celebrity under certain circumstances.

That's like "I cleaned Jack Nicholson's teeth" or "I sold a Stetson to Dyslexia."

Gave a mammogram to Jayne Mansfield? WOWEE!

I saw Harry Connick Jr. at the car wash.

I kinda looked at him at first, thinking he looked familiar. He stood around, noticing I was glancing at him.

I guess he thought I was gonna ask for an autograph or or something. I didn't want him to think I was flirting, so I tried to explain myself.

"You know who you look a little like? That.....<snap, snap> ah...Harry Connick Jr."

That's actually how I figured out a lot of celebrities were celebrities in L.A.

A normal person, you glance at them a few times, they look back at you like "wtf is your problem??"

A celebrity doesn't react at all -- they're used to it.

(OK, I only saw like 10 ever, but that seemed to hold true for most of 'em.)

I clipped Bob Barkers nephews toenails.

He was really made because he didn't want them done.

I also gave Martin Mulls sister in law a stick of gum.

The only part that was required to access the picture was

It is quite possible that you saved it as a bitmap, or it was a bitmap that was renamed to a jpg without being converted. A bitmap file would be much bigger than a jpg file.

Actually, you may notice that your jpg is larger than mine.

Hey, stop that, Lord c'mon... you know I am talking about the file.
