In Internet cafés by the dozens,
at school, work, home, even the mall
There came electronic invitations
to the A2K Valentines' Ball
Everyone's avatar was spotless
prose polished with beautiful tones
the members all took on a partner
and some even danced with their clones
The refreshments were tasty - to die for!
Bear's band played to the break of the light
Love and peace reined over the forum
it was a wonderous night
The Atheists danced with the Buddhists
the Liberals danced with the Right
Friendship grew between Autos and General
the worst insult was "Go fly a kite!"
But every party has an ending
every pumpkin transformed from a coach
every bottle of wine passes down into dregs
every joint is smoked down to a roach
On the 15th, the members went home
Magic spent, a thrill for them all
until once again, love reigns supreme
at the A2K Valentines' Ball

Come one, come all, and grab a partner, or confess a crush, or dance by yourself, if you so desire. Valentines' Day is coming in less than two weeks! Have some fun!
OK I confess that I have a crush on jespah.
She always was the smart one.
Well, Syn hasn't been around much lately. I might actually get to dance with George.
My valentine suit has a heart on.
<Gustav taps Occom Bill on the shoulder and proceeds to dance the night away with Phoenix. It is polka at its finest>
I see dyslexia has designs on McGentrix over in the corner.
Let's hope the good lady Diane doesn't hear about this.
<Kicky leans drunkenly against the wall near the punchbowl, scowling>
Okay Gus, Kicky, Lord E., Slappy, O'Bill, Dys, Farmerman, George, et. al...all you gorgeous guys...this is your big chance.
I want a dance with each of you! (One at a time, please...and no stepping on the gold brocade stilettos.)
I'm afraid I only know those old fashioned dances from the 20's, Eva.
My favourite is the "Shufflebottom Grope". Do you know it?
V-Day is my daughters birthday, so we will go to our annual Crab Leg and Lobster seafood feast.
Squinney will be out of town.
