It depends on the type of guy he is.If he is nice maybe get him something like a CD(not very romantic but better than a stuffed toy).
If he is a typical guy that wont appreciate anything then dont waste your money on getting anything expensive.
Start off small, find out what he is interested in.He isnt gona love you more if you spend a fortune.

read "Hi Fidelity" make a mix CD and give him the book to go with it.

That advice is from my 18 year old daughter. I dont understand but its probably good advice.

My advice is give him a kiss tell him you love him and dont kowtow to the great god commercialism.

...................but I'm a 'rent what would I know.

Remember, BVT, this is a sixteen-year old girl you are talking to. And you forgot to mention the pretzels.

How is she going to figure that out on her own?

Get him a gift card for his favorite store. Tie it up with a red silk ribbon. Place it on the driver's seat of his car along with a note saying, "Thank you for making the last 9 months so special for me." He'll love it.

Best anti-Valentine's Day card ever

'Okay Jeremy,
I've been thinking about it.
And even though you touched yourself while we watched that dirty movie together...
I don't absolutely despise you.

Crappy Valentine's Day.'

He'll like it.

If your boyfriend reads that you will see visible disappointment etched into his face.

A 9" x 10" framed pic of yourself, along with a card. Write on the card, "Could you get any luckier? I don't think so!!"

Äh, neither am I expecting any presents, nor am I making any!

If you feel like you HAVE to get SOMETHING/ANYTHING, then I would forget about it!

Ive given this question a lot of thought and have purposely not answered till now. The perfect gift for a guy would be a fully equipped Conover lather with a midi attachment and digital pattern maker attachement that fits on a laptop equipped with XP. Also a complete set of Turning tools with carbide cutter heads.
