Hello,

I am trying to download from mIRC and I keep on getting the below error:
"You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer. (150 seconds remaining until timeout)"

Under Tools/Options/DCC/Ignore I have ticked "disable" and it still isn't working... Evil or Very Mad

I am running on XP -- don't have my firewall up, diabled Norton....still doesn't work.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thx

You may not really want to download that particular file. If, however, it is from a trusted sender and you know what it is, see THIS and THIS. In any event, should you decide to and manage to download the file, I suggest you download it to a folder of its own and then scan it both with your antivirus and your resident antispyware before opening it.
