Eating veggies is more fun than growing them in my humble opinion; 5 a day is the nanny government slogan for fruit and veg.
Fruit consumption is in my opinion a very healthy pastime and should be on everybody's daily menu.
Gurus in India teach that fruit is the nearest food to the gods, because it grows high up on the trees; it's interesting gods are always placed on high.
"Howzat?" the cry of a fielding team we have been hearing almost daily on our TV screens this summer during The England v Australian Cricket Test series and now the 50 over series.
India, Pakistan, Australia and the West Indiea are the ex-colonies who have taken cricket most to their hearts; I have been to a cricket field in Greece, and my Dutch friend plays, but it has never really caught on anywhere else.
Just shows you what the rest of the world is missing out on. Where else can you have a game lasting 5 days and have the result decided in the last 5 minutes as we saw in one of the Tests between England and Australia recently.
Keenly looking for an opinion about the Beckhams' prospective move toe LA ... any takers?
No comment, other than to say who would pay that sort of money to a "has been", they've got rocks in their head. Good luck to him, lady luck is smiling at him when he is no longer wanted in Europe and should be retiring.

Looks like someone (naming no names here!) forgot we were on an ABC quest! Jumped from K to N, if you can believe it!
Mame you never gave me a chance to finish my "edit", plus a2k gave me the flick with their well known logo "Critical Error". What am I to do.
(Kisses to you darling, I know you mean well

)
Needed to edit? Pshaw! I can't believe you, D!
Pretty interesting book just published here, Affluenza by Oliver James, a psychologist, who contrasts the English speaking world's obsessions with the trappings of affluence with the more lowkey version of other countries in Western Europe, and links it to the incidence of mental illness - twice as high for us.
Quitte perturbed Mame doubts my sincerity.
Reading not one of your passions, Dutchy?
Sorry Clary, apart from Playboy, my reading interest has waned in recent years.
To tell you the truth, so has mine.
Up and a way the rest of the day.
Vanishing Dutchy leaves the coast clear for others.
