Keeping an eye out for the long awaited rains, tropical moisture is moving into our State today and with a bit of luck will hopefully get some drops.

Pre-breakfast check to see if A2K is up and running, which luckily it is, before a morning of water aerobics.

Sighing as I realize the day is a little cooler than I had expected; but, smiling as I notice winter seems to have finally arrived.

Temperatures down this side of the pond too, but I like warmer winters, personally, and our reservoirs are filling up fast.

Very springlike this morning, crisp but primroses and crocuses in the garden; embracing the positive in climate change while I can; luckily I live on a hill.

What a change to the lawns after all the rain we've had, with the hot sun burning down today it grew almost 4 inches, forcing me to give it quick trimming late this afternnon.

Zealously proud of my lawn, luscious green with edges neatly trimmed and cut grass used for mulching my rock melon plants.

Cottage roses, purply pink with a wonderful scent, grow along my wall. Unfortunately a cutting will not make it to the Antipodes.
