Pity everybody has gone to bed, pushing the threads along by myself.

Quite unnecessary, they can stew while you do your home diy.

Raising the ante once again, and trying my hardest to beat the "Song Title " thread.

Taking Clary's advise, perhaps fewer threads, gives me more time for attention to detail.

Undoubtedly detail is important, one can spread oneself too thin.

You wouldn't believe it Mame, I too haven't the faintest idea, just a play on words with Clary. She is so very clever with words, I'm just 'trying' to match her.

Zany Mame, it looks to me a very straightforward conversation - perhaps you didn't go far enough back.

About four and a half miles was the furthest I walked, but it still didn't make sense to me either.

Blimey Mathos, walking four and a half miles, I would have taken my bike. Amazes me, three different continents talking the same language, yet nobody seems to understand the other.

Dutchy thinks that's a good idea. Let's talk about the latest meat prices and the enormous rips-off by the Multinationals. The farmers here get $3.00 for a kilo of beef, yet the same kilo of beef cost the consumer $38.00 on the Supermarket shelf!!

English farmers are ripped off even more than that, don't get me started, and when the supermarkets do their BOGOF offers, it is the poor wretched farmers who have to foot the bill. And the European community policies are partly if not wholly responsible.

Foreign beef markets have no impact here, utter greedinesss and profiteering by the big boys is the cause in Australia.

Gist of their beef is that meat is being downplayed by healthconscious media who recommend veggies and beans instead.

Health awareness is not a bad thing you know with so many obese people about the place nowadays. The issue gets plenty of attention here as the medical profession predict many problems lie ahead in future years unless something is done now.

Interference on an unprecedented scale has taken place in Tony Blair's tenure, and people are starting to resent it, even though or perhaps especially because it's for their own good. We are being treated like a nation of halfwits and children; there was an article on the radio today about parents being educated to understand what their children were up to on the Net - a government initiative.
