Some years in India, and many more in Hong Kong. Which is where I had a cook who was a whiz, much better than me.

Tell me - where in India? Lucky you. I visited Hong Kong once for ten days. Not a place for me.

University of Delhi - my husband was a student and we travelled for 48 weeks out of the three years, though we were based in Delhi.

Very lucky, C. ( My mother went to India twice by herself... each time for 6 months. She very much enjoyed it. She was 65 or 66 when she went. I would like to go, too.)

Well it's never too late; go to Kerala for your introduction to the place, it's the gentlest. I went there with McTag last year.

Yes, indeed, we wrote a thread about it in the travel section, too. Do you ever read threads on other fora?

I greet all you people in the East who have been up for hours, and the night owls still awake in the West!
