Ever wonder where they've gone,
when you don't see them anywhere?
Locked in step with time and song,
Or grappling with some angel there?
Remembering Gen, and thorman, too.
And Morganwood who said so much,
I would like to know for me,
And know for you and .............
and HereComeEverybody. Where in the smeg is that guy?
makin' cd's ; drinkin' rye?

Nice memories Letty I miss them all but like Stoat and Ridinghood and Shebears and we could all name many they lost their addiction and moved on to other things or stay somewhere else to only to be seen once in a blue moon.

You know, Joanne, I do wonder what happens to people on these forums, especially the ones that we have come to know and love. Well, maybe they'll pop in and let us know. Hope so.

I think that there are lots of reasons why a person leaves a forum like A2K, after being an active member.
* Problems with another member/members.
*Change in life circumstances- new job, business, spouse, child, illness etc. that would give a person less time to spend on a forum.
* New interests- Some people get very involved in one sort of activity or another. Goes at it hot and heavy for awhile- and then goes on to another interest.
* Change in forum that made staying with it untenable- Abuzz is perfect example.
* Bored- Tired of same old, same old.

Hi, Phoenix. Yes, I understand exactly what you are saying. Guess I worry too much.

The buzz wears off, its hard to navigate this forum, all sorts of reasons. I know I've had a lot of trouble playing here as I do on Abuzz. But I would be surprised to find that there are many hard feelings on A2K. I've never seen any cross words and that's almost spooky.

Ther used to be a TV ad in the UK that had the jingle line -----------
"You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent". An extreme mystery that even dentists couldn't solve.

Where or where are you tonight,
Why did you leave me here all alone.
I searched the world over,
And I thought I'd found true love.
You met another, and phftte..you were gone.
and that was from American TV, John.

The man is an absolute bounder. A cad of the first order. Thumbscrews and hot pokers are too good for him.

hmorehead, I've been involved in some spirited battles here on A2k, to say the least. But none of the explicity swearing or spam or stalking like you see on Abuzz.

and so he is. He's the father of my unborn child, and I'm complainin' to the Dead Beat Father's Association.
I found one of the missing, however.

From the land of the missing, I spring up to say-
I read through a little just the other day.
But life is a TRAUMA, just looking for places,
And that could explain the absence of faces.
I miss you dear Letty, and lots...when not here;
Sometimes it's just needful to go- I fear...
To fly, or to ride or just walk far away
Is real FUN, but I don't plan to go for to STAY.
See, I am back TODAY!
I like your poem, and I really relate to your loneliness, and yearning for good friends. I do the same....
