The spectrum is circular rather than linear. I am politically a philosophical anarchist and socially a liberal.

dys- But in order to be a liberal, there needs to be a government who provides the funding for all those programs that liberals support.
Politically I am a libertarian...................liberal socially, but conservative economically.

Yes Phoenix but I think you are using a limited understanding of "philosophical anarchist." The framework of such a philosophyl is simply that all government is pernicious leaving the philosophical anarchist with the position of minimizing the intrusion of government into the personal liberties of the citizens (not unlike libertarians) the "liberal" element is in what activities the government should be engaged in, which I, as a liberal, note as being Health/Education/Welfare as well as sundry others such as national parks, public lands etc.

Yes, of course Edgar. It's you and me against them. (I believe that gives us the advantage)

JL, do you mean that dys is your hero? How sweet.
I think dys is trying to create a new word:
Anarchist and antichrist. Pretty good, diction wise
