Sort of like contemplating one's navel isn't it? Is it an "innie" our an "outie".

Adam and Eve didnt have a navel.

and, so they then went for the apple.

thereby coining the phrase, " comparing apples and oranges "..

The question has been debated so long because people do not understand and seek to find out. (Who is definite that it cannot be proven? Its just that some things are not revealed that easily)

Personally, I think the crucial issue is what will you do if you know/not know about it? Doing something about the issue is more important. There are people who know God exists, believe and are able to do constructive things to benefit themselves are others. So, it does make a difference to some who seeks the answer.

Ignorance is not bliss all the time and even if one does not found the answer to this question, it still is beneficial to one's knowledge to learn about this matter and how others feel.
