I was on there a moment ago and there were 3 guests (probably me you and lash) and a moderator, guess who.
Abuzz went down in flames because it was overrun by ranting bigots . . . the same could happen here.
Intrepid, whose idiocy knows no bounds when it comes to criticizing anything i write (he's become obsessive) asserts that three of the members there are well-known atheists from here--he knows that how?
This is only one site that we know of that MOAN frequented and from which she attempted to enlist fantatics to assault this site. Someone here has contended that one member there has more than one ID here--although i am uncertain as to how this would be known, unless it is being stated at that site. I didn't waste my time reading their maunderings in much detail.
Having seen a major web site destroyed by ranting, fanatical idiots, and even though this site is well moderated, i don't want to see the attempt made here. No amount of puerile ridicule from resentful religionists is going to change that, either.

Isn't calling someone an idiot against TOS? I will have to look into that. When you disagree with someone, you call it disagreement and civil discourse. When someone disagrees with you, they are an idiot and are only criticizing. Interesting. How? Cause Timber has said as much.

It is so laughable that, again, a very large percentage of the posts in R&C are by non-Christians. You only read enough to satisfy your own agenda.

Are you feeling threatened? If you aren't, you surely are putting forth the image that you are. I have asked everyone to leave that other site alone. They are of no threat to A2K just as I am no threat to A2K. That other site is mostly compromised of young teens.
I have been responsible for one person and one person only registering on A2K. A friend of mine registered and joined in the one thread where we were building a country from three basic laws. She hasn't posted on A2K since then. That was after July of last year. Her USERID is Valley Angel so you can do a search and confirm this for yourself. No one since then has signed up on A2K because I asked them to or encouraged them to. The other Christians that you seem to think I got to sign up are all people I met after they registered on A2K.
Oh, and a poster himself said that he had more than one ID on A2K, so it's not like anyone is trying to hide anything. You might want to regroup a bit about something though. Chai Tea seems to think no one has posted on SW since 1/31. Not true. Quite a bit has been posted.
And, in all honesty, if everyone would just let this go, I would most likely just ease my way on out of A2K. But, as long as anyone is going to attack others for what I posted, I'm going to stick around.
Twice now, things have been pulled from two different threads because of something done against the TOS. And, it wasn't done by me. So, if you guys would just let this drop it will all go away. It has been so blown out of proportion it is actually starting to become ridiculous. Everyone has blown up one post I made on another site to an out and out free for all. There is no assault planned.
Check out the Putting On The Armor of God on that other site. That will give you what "assault" (your word, not mine) an army of God presents. Are you really that scared? I've got an idea. Let me post here what the armor of God is. Then decide if you should feel threatened or not. No one is threatening A2K or any poster on A2K.

Yes, we have some new religious zealots here...I assume Google is now, with A2k's Search engine optimization, attracting us a mess of godstruck folk, of the islamic stripe as well, right now, because on A2k a little of something leads to a lot.
Yep, I sure am not happy about how some of our god zealots have behaved deceitfully....(and I have a high personal yuck factor re how a number of new members of both christian and islamic persuasion talk and "debate" and think.... for what that is worth on a site such this, which I guess is pretty much zero)...but I really cannot see where all the stuff about "the end of A2k" from a few people is coming from.
If they break the TOS, they are suspended. If they spam, it is removed.
I personally react badly to feeling a bit overwhelmed by weird threads and personal drama fests, but this is gonna settle, especially if it is not fed too much, no?
I am kind of lost at the degree of fear being expressed, I guess.
I suspect that this forum is not likely to attract too many religious zealots for very long...its tone is somewhat inimical to such, I think.
And, if it does keep a bunch of them, I imagine we will settle down to ignoring a lot of it, as most of us ignore the religion forum, except when something catches our eye especially...and I think we tend to be able to keep our end up in any debate we wish to join in, no?
I suspect the "don't come in and mess with our threads you beasts" stuff will mellow out in a bit, as that sort of thing fails to impress.

This has been explained quite a few times: most "guests" are just search engines, like google etc.
When a member loggs in, you either see her/his name or she/he is "hidden".
