The kiss in Gone with the Wind
"There's one thing I do know, and that is that I love you, Scarlett. In spite of you and me and the whole silly world going to pieces around us, I love you. Because we're alike - bad lots both of us, selfish and shrewd, but able to look things in the eyes and call them by their right names...I've loved you more than I've ever loved any woman. I've waited longer for you than I've ever waited for any woman."
He takes her in his arms and kisses her hard.
"Here's a soldier of the South who loves you, Scarlett, wants to feel your arms around him, wants to carry the memory of your kisses into battle with him. Never mind about loving me. You're a woman sending a soldier to his death with a beautiful memory. Scarlett, kiss me. Kiss me, once."
And then he kisses her again, this time really laying in.
She, of course, pulls back and slaps his face but the whole scene is just fabulous.
the kiss between al pacino and i think michelle phiffer in frankie and johnny.
Michelle Trachtenberg kissing her "twin brother" in EuroTrip was amusing.
Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr -
From Here to Eternity
Is that really a great kiss, seems quite unnatural to me.Great imagery tho.
Thats just one frame from a long, long scene. You really oughtta see the movie - or at least that scene. That kiss ranks as a landmark in moviedom, and even today its influence is seen in all sortsa movies and TV shows.
Dont remember seeing you in the cast, Satt
Never mind Francis, I like this type..
